Microsoft Kinect is about to hit the stores
One of the most awaited and appericiated gadgets, Microsoft Kinect will hit the stores in next weak and from Nov.4 it will be widely available across the globe.Kinect is an Xbox 360 Addon which allows users to play games without a controller.
Its a small bar which is placed near TV and it receives signals from the hand movements and voice commands of the user. it lets the user control games, music and movies.
As a single product Kinect is available in $149.99, Microsoft has planned to sell it in a bundle, the bundle includes a Microsoft Kinect Xbox 360 250GB and Kinect adventure game, the bundle is going to cost you a sum of $399.99.Sales of the bundle has already been popular and it was listed in the top 50 products on Amazon.com this year.
Kinnect willl be launched on Nov8 in Europe,Nov 18 in Australia and Nov 20 in Japan.
Most of the Kinect games have a group focus. Last weak microsoft revealed 17 kinect compatible games. On the launch on Nov 4, games like “Kinect Joy Ride,” “Sonic Free Rider,” and the “Biggest Loser Ultimate Workout” will go on sale. Five more games such as “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1″ and “EA Sports Active 2″ will be released throughout November and Decemeber.
Microsoft is taking Kinect on a media Blitz that majorly includes appearances on The Oprah Winfrey Show and the Ellen Degeneres Show. Microsoft said in a press release that pre-order sales have been strong and we are getting huge responses from the market.
“For me it is a big, big deal,” Microsoft chief Steve Ballmer said in a New York Times story. “There’s nothing like it on the market.” and on saome extent he is right too. the Microsoft Kinect will be the first product in this category ever launched.
